Further Reading

The following bibliography has been divided into eight main areas of interest: Thomas Gray; Samuel Taylor Coleridge; the literature of the Lake District; spatial theory; the literature of place and space; cartography; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); and electronic texts and textuality. What follows is not a comprehensive list of sources but, instead, is a necessarily select bibliography. The aim, therefore, is to direct users towards some germane publications and to allow them to create their own bibliographic map.

Further references to all these texts are given parenthetically across the 'Mapping the Lakes' website.
